John Dodson教授简介：

BSc (Hons 1) and MSc (Monash), Melbourne PhD (ANU), Canberra

Academic leading roles at University of Canterbury (NZ), University of New South Wales (Sydney), University of Western Australia (Perth), Brunel University (London) before returning to Australia at ANSTO in 2006.

Professor John Dodson’s research work has been focussed on climate change and human impacts in Australia, Pacific Islands, Ireland and China. He has published over 150 journal articles, books and book chapters. He has served on a number of committees for IGBP (including with Professors Liu Tungsheng and Gou Zhengtang), INQUA and International Year of Planet Earth (Climate Change Group and vice Chair of Scientific programme).

Currently Head of the Institute for Environmental Research (and Chair of Research and Innovation) at Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation, which has about 100 staff, manages national infrastructure in Accelerators and several other key instruments and heads a group that supports about 100 projects per year across the university sector in Australia.
