实验室介绍: 

  实验室成立于2003年,配备有MAT253和Delta V plus型同位素比值质谱仪,同时拥有Flash EA 1112型有机元素分析仪、TC/EA高温裂解分析仪、GasBench II多功能气体制备装置、Trace GC 2000型气相色谱仪和Kiel IV碳酸盐反应装置等多台外设,通过与同位素质谱仪的联用可在线分析各类地质样品的碳、氮、氢和氧同位素组成。近年来,实验室运用气体稳定同位素分析技术,开展了古环境、古气候、古生态和同位素地球化学过程等方面的研究。同时,实验室技术人员还不断拓展仪器功能和开发新方法,如磷酸盐氧同位素的制备与分析、碳酸盐耦合同位素(clumped isotopes)的分析等,为古环境研究提供了新的强有力的技术手段。环境同位素实验室对国内外研究人员高质开放,欢迎前来开展合作研究。 
    
仪器介绍:
 
  MAT253同位素比值质谱仪是目前国际上最先进的气体稳定同位素分析仪器,由美国Thermo Scientific公司制造,于2003年引进。它具有较宽的质量数范围(1-150道尔顿),较高的灵敏度(离子/800分子),质量分辨率可达200。MAT253稳定同位素比值质谱仪提供 D/H、 13C/ 12C、15N/ 14N、18O/16O和29Si/ 28Si同位素比值的高精度测定。 
  同位素质谱仪分析原理:

  首先将样品转化为纯的气体,待测气体通过扩散或He载气携带进入离子源,在电子轰击作用下变为带电荷的离子,然后经过电场加速后进入磁场,根据质荷比(m/z)的大小以不同半径发生偏转,从而实现对不同质量数的同种分子的分离,最后不同质荷比的带电离子分别被不同位置上的接收杯所接收、计数,通过计算给出同位素组成。下图为CO2气体各同位素的分离、检测示意图。

实验室成员: 

  王旭:博士,副研究员,第四纪地质学专业,目前为环境同位素实验室技术负责人。主要研究方向为古气候与古环境研究,包括:古火历史重建及其与气候和人类活动关系研究、地质时期高温期(如PETM时期)古气候研究等。同时,负责稳定同位素质谱仪的功能拓展与新方法开发。
