宋东方,研究员,博士生导师。2008年本科毕业于吉林大学,获地质学学士学位,2013年获中国科学院地质与地球物理研究所构造地质学博士学位。长期从事造山带构造演化研究,研究领域涉及造山带基底、增生杂岩、俯冲-碰撞相关盆地、岩浆弧等构造演化过程及其大地构造意义解析,以及大地构造过程与古气候环境变化关系。发表SCI论文60余篇(第一/通讯作者论文20余篇),被引用3000余次(Google Scholar)。第一作者论文主要发表于Communications Earth & Environment, GRL, Earth-Science Reviews, Tectonics, GSA Bulletin, Tectonophysics, 岩石学报等国内外主流地学刊物。担任美国地质学会《GSA Bulletin》Associate Editor,《地学前缘》编委和《大地构造与成矿学》、《地质科学》青年编委。曾获国家自然科学基金面上基金、青年科学基金、博士后科学基金和国家留学基金委等项目资助。2022年获国家优秀青年科学基金资助。 学习经历: - 2008/09 – 2013/06 中国科学院地质与地球物理研究所,构造地质学,博士
