  蔡书慧博士长期从事地磁场演化与地球内部过程研究,主要致力于考古磁学研究,取得一系列代表性成果:建立第一条东亚地区近七千年考古强度变化参考曲线,揭示出全新世的地磁场极端变化事件,为地磁发电机过程的数值模拟提供了重要约束条件;将考古遗址绝对和相对强度研究相结合,发现了3300BCE左右地磁场“Jerk”变化;获得东南亚首批地磁场全矢量数据,揭示地磁场负异常,支持低纬度地区核幔边界可能存在磁通量溢出的观点,为认识低纬度地区地磁场特征及核幔边界结构提供新思路;获得中低纬度火山岩高精度古强度结果,为讨论地磁场地心轴向偶极 (GAD) 模型提供重要约束。
